8:00PM (7:30 doors) In The Dark: LOVE

Presented with Rowhome Productions & Fire Museum Presents

In The Dark is a London, UK-based audio collective that holds gathered listening events for the public. Their aim is to create a mini-revolution in the way we think about spoken-word and creative audio by lifting it out of its traditional settings and celebrating it in new and unusual ways. In 14 years they've held over 250 events across the UK and world wide, in cities like Belfast, Brussels, Lisbon, Berlin, New York and Melbourne. They've executed events and installations for well known institutions like The Barbican, Latitude Festival, Tribeca and the Wellcome Collection.

For their Philadelphia debut, In The Dark curator Talia Augustidis curates a program inspired by the theme of "Love".What is love? Who does it belong to? How can we access it?

Join ITD, Rowhome Productions, and Fire Museum Presents for an intimate selection of audio that will make your heart full. She’ll be exploring love in all of its forms — romantic, familial, erotic, conditional and unconditional. Expect heartbreaks, hookups, and plenty of pining.

Talia is a multi-award-winning audio producer and community organizer based in London. Her podcast UnReality has been featured in festivals all over the world, from New York to Florence to Reykjavik. She is the lead curator for In The Dark London and writes the All Hear newsletter.

Please note: advanced reservations are for In The Dark only. All other performances are scheduled to be held outdoors in the Emerald Street Wildflower Garden adjacent to The Perch.
